The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has graded the “largest” lab-grown pink diamond in the world. If the lab-grown diamond is the largest is unsure but the producer claims it is.
Details of the lab-grown pink diamond
The lab-grown pink diamond is 5.01 carat and is according to the GIA fancy intense pinkish- orange. In addition, the diamond has the diamond clarity equivalent of an SI clarity diamond. The GIA said in a lab note last month that the lab-grown diamond showed “outstanding gemological features”. Even the combination of size, color and clarity makes the diamond the most remarkable lab-grown diamond also called CVD synthetic diamonds.
