This years MET Gala was in the style of Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons and Hollywood looked its best again in beautiful dresses and outstanding diamond jewelry. From Rihanna stealing the show in kaleidoscope color to Jennifer Lopez who stunned us with more than 150 carat of colorless diamonds. Compared to previous MET Galas a lot more colorless diamonds appeared in the diamond jewelry.
Let’s have a look at some of the evening’s most heart stealing diamond jewelry. Starting with Rihanna the most dominating star. She appeared in a unique flower-dotted gown while dripping gems including her co-designed jewelry she designed with the Swiss luxury brand Chopard. The jewelry line is named “Rihanna Loves Chopard”. The jewelry was colorful and set with a variation of gemstones. Sit tight, Rihanna her jewelry:

• On her hands
A ring with a 15.10-carat rubellite that was accompanied by 0.50 carats of amethyst and 0.41 carats of marquise cut morganites. But that was not the only ring RiRi wore as there was another 21.13-carat pear-shaped rubellite with 2.29 pear-shaped amethysts and 1.18-carats of diamonds. But not all rings were from her collection as she wore ruby and diamond rings of Le Vian and Dvani.

Gwyneth Paltrow kept it “simple” by having her bling only in her ears. But this kind of “simple” is worth more than $2.3 million as her earrings were a 2-tone emerald drop earrings of total 16.31-carats. Gwyneth matched the 2-tone diamond eardrops with 80-point colorless diamond ear studs.
Staying with colorless diamond eardrops, Model Behati wife of Adam Levine had chandelier diamond earrings containing pear, marquise, and round cut diamonds. The total weight of the earrings were 31.58-carats. But that was not all jewelry Behati wore as her bracelet was 66.83 carats, her emerald-cut diamond rock band was 11.45-carats and her cushion cut ring was 7.53-carats.
Elle Fanning wore diamond ear studs and a bandeau of the period Art Deco circa the 1920s that matched her light blue gown perfectly as it contained aquamarine and diamonds.
As it is a red carpet, Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewelry was everywhere as always. Here are a couple celebrities wearing Lorraine her jewelry:
