• You may want to avoid any resemblances to the previous proposals' designs and styles. You don't want a constant reminder of the previous relationships (either spouse) that ended in divorce sitting on her finger.
• Think about the dynamics of your ex-girlfriends and how to avoid any potential drama if the ring is too flashy, if applicable.

As a general rule, it's preferable to stop wearing your old engagement ring or wedding band when embarking on a new engagement with your second spouse. The sad loss of a husband may have ended your first marriage, but wearing the rings from that marriage could make you feel awkward with your new partner. Many reasonable exceptions can be made to this rule.

Selecting The Perfect Ring

There is nothing more complicated than that if you like it. First and second engagement rings are available in the same collection. Diamonds aren't out of place just because it's a second engagement.
