Natural fancy color diamonds are the most special of all diamonds. Most of the diamonds that are discovered are in the colorless to light yellow range on the GIA color scale. Stones with even the slightest hint of a color other than yellow or brown are classified as fancy colored diamonds. Fancy colored diamonds come in a wide variety of shades and colors such as purple, yellow, blue, green, orange, brown, black, pink and the incredibly rare red.
