With the peculiarity of red diamonds, high-quality pinks are the most pricey natural diamond color in the market today. The price varies significantly and can go from $10,000 per carat for a less drastic pink diamond to a hugely $700,000 per carat for a deep and extreme pink. The pink diamonds’ increased value stems from their extreme rarity, undeniably outstanding. The pink diamonds have long been admired by royalty. They are calculated to sell for millions per carat in today’s market, with a limited supply of massive carats and bright colors.

The primary factor affecting the price of pink diamonds is the color intensity and carat weight. The pink diamonds have high rocketing value and worth as their characteristics (e.g., size and color power grow).

However, not all pink diamonds are made equal. Some of the Pink diamonds descend into purplish pink, pink, pink rose, pink champagne, blue-violet, and red in periods of the color hierarchy. The most occasional and most expensive is a 1PP (purplish pink), then pinks and pink roses. Purplish undertones give the diamond a more flashy and severe build.

Simple, if a pink diamond maintains a purplish modifier, the diamond would presumably be priced barely less than a pink stone without a color modifier.

Thus, before looking at diamonds and jewelry, having a specific budget in mind will help restrict your inquiry.

Furthermore, few countries have been lucky enough to find pink diamond mines. More than 90% of the world’s pool of natural pink diamonds is produced at the Argyle Mine in Western Australia, which is well-known worldwide. Another country where the pink diamond can be found (e.g., Africa, India, Russia, Brazil, Canada, etc.)

The pink diamonds make up less than 1% of the Argyle mine’s production, making them the rarest of the rare. This is primarily because only one carat of pink diamonds is unrestricted for every million carats of raw pink diamonds excavated.

The pink diamond is a beautiful gemstone and still very rare, with only a few produced each year. However, due to marketing efforts to sell pink diamonds, for instance, Ben Affleck’s proposal to Jennifer Lopez with a pink gemstone in 2002, prices have risen significantly. The publicity of known and influential individuals really helps the marketing efforts.

Nissan, David and his team were extremely accommodating, understanding and patient with our purchase. They took the upmost care to find the best solution for our needs and went above and beyond normal ‘customer service’ standards. I have absolutely no qualms recommending their products and services. Both were absolutely flawless. I will continue to sing them praises and will most definitely purchase from them again in the future. Thank you again!

Bought a beautiful stone here for an engagement ring. I was a little apprehensive since you’re buying something unseen. But Cid made it easy. In fact, Nissan, the owner also gave a call to make me more comfortable. They sent me the stone to take to a local jeweler with only my Amex in case I bailed on them.
