Lab-grown diamonds are a great alternative to mined diamonds. They have the same physical properties as traditional diamonds, like hardness and brilliance, but they’re produced in a laboratory rather than mined from the earth. Lab-grown diamonds are often less expensive than mined diamonds of similar size and quality. This is because they’re grown under controlled conditions rather than relying on natural elements like weather or geology that can affect their price.

Why Choose a Lab-grown diamond?

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. They are made of the same material and are composed of the same carbon atoms as their mined counterparts, but they’re grown in a laboratory rather than extracted from the earth. The result is a diamond that looks and feels just like a natural diamond, except for one thing: its price tag.

Lab-grown diamonds are environmentally friendly. The process used to create lab-grown diamonds does not use any hazardous chemicals or involve mining at all; instead, it involves growing crystals under controlled conditions until they become large enough to be cut into gemstones—a process that takes about 2-4 months for each gemstone depending on its size and shape. This means that lab-grown diamonds do not require any significant environmental impact beyond basic electricity consumption (approximately $1 per carat). They also have no effect on global warming since they do not release CO2 into the atmosphere while being created!

About Lab-grown diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. The process to create lab-grown diamonds involves placing a diamond seed into a chamber with natural gas and hydrogen, where it’s heated to extreme temperatures until the carbon atoms fuse together into a single crystal.

As they’re grown in a lab, they’re free of any imperfections or inclusions that would otherwise make them less desirable to consumers. This makes them more durable than mined diamonds, which will eventually develop cracks as they naturally expand and contract from their environment over time.

How to Choose a Lab-grown diamond Ring

Choosing a lab-grown diamond engagement ring is not unlike choosing any other piece of jewelry. While they may be made in the lab, they are still diamonds, and therefore have many of the same qualities as traditional mined diamonds. For this reason, you should consider all of the same factors that you would when choosing any other diamond engagement ring—the size and shape of the gemstone, its cut quality and how it will reflect light, along with its setting (which we’ll get into more later).

However, there are some important differences between traditional mined diamonds and lab-grown stones that you should be aware of in order to choose an appropriate ring for yourself or a loved one:

The 4 C’s – colorless or near-colorless diamonds are much harder to find than those with slight yellow or brown tints because they often get discarded by miners during sorting due to their lack of color saturation. This means that while there may only be small differences between two similar sized stones from different sources (i.e., mined vs synthesized), these differences could mean far greater price discrepancies depending on which side they fall within! In addition to price considerations though – consider also how much time went into producing each type too! If finding one perfect specimen takes hundreds if not thousands upon thousands hours then why wouldn’t we want another option?

Consider the 4 C’s

When it comes to choosing a lab-grown diamond engagement ring, the four C’s of cut, clarity, color and carat will play a major role in your purchase.

The Cut: The most important factor in beauty and brilliance of any gemstone is its cut. Lab-grown diamonds are no exception as this determines how well light is reflected from the stone. The best way to describe good cutting is that it looks like an explosion of light when viewed from above or below (also known as “fire”). The best way to assess the quality of your engagement ring with lab grown diamonds on it is by looking at its brilliance through magnification under 10x magnification. Clarity: Clarity refers to the absence of internal flaws within a diamond crystal structure that would otherwise impair its appearance if present. Clarity ranges from flawless (FL) all the way down through various grades such as Very Lightly Included (VLI), Slightly Included (SI), and Included (I). Color: Color grading refers only to colored diamonds; there are no standard grading systems for colorless ones because their natural state does not lend itself well toward comparison against each other

Choosing the Right Shape

When choosing the right shape, think about how you want your ring to look and feel. For example, if you’re a traditionalist who prefers round diamonds, then there’s nothing wrong with that! But don’t get caught up in the idea that round is better than other shapes. If a square-cut diamond is more visually appealing to you than one with corners (think: princess cut), then go for it!

It can also help to think of your diamond as a three-dimensional object rather than simply two dimensions. While round diamonds have their own unique appeal, they’re not always best suited to every hand size or finger type because they tend to take up more space on the finger than other shapes do. So if you have small hands and find that most round rings sit too high on your finger where they can get caught on things like door handles or clothing buttons when wearing gloves during winter months—or even just when reaching into pockets while walking around outside—then consider going for something else instead: perhaps an oval shape will work better for those reasons (and others); and vice versa if you have large hands—you’ll need some room for air circulation around both sides so having rectangular or square shapes could work well here too!

Choosing the Right Cut

The cut of a diamond is the most important factor in determining its beauty. The quality of a diamond’s cut determines how it reflects light and affects its sparkle, which is crucial when determining whether or not a stone makes for an ideal engagement ring. A good cut will allow light to enter the stone and bounce around inside to create an even distribution of bright flashes.

There are several different cuts that can be used with lab-grown diamonds, but before purchasing one for your engagement ring consider exactly what you’re looking for out of this purchase: Do you want something traditional? An experimenter? Something that stands out as unique?

The best choice depends on your personal preferences as well as what shape fits best with your lifestyle. Some cuts are better suited than others depending on whether they amplify or minimize color while some styles will naturally accentuate certain qualities more than others

Choosing the Right Setting

When it comes to choosing a setting for your lab-grown diamond engagement ring, there are several things you should consider. The most important factor is that the setting complements the diamond and makes it look even better. The setting should also be secure, comfortable to wear, affordable and compatible with the diamond. Any good jeweler will make sure that all of these factors are taken into account before selecting a particular setting for your ring.

A good starting point when choosing a setting is by looking at styles made popular by other companies or celebrities. You can also ask yourself how much you want to spend on the engagement ring as well as what kind of style suits your partner’s personality best before making any final decisions about which type of ring she would like most during this special occasion!

Lab-grown diamonds are authentic, ethically produced, and environmentally friendly

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. They are created in the same way as mined diamonds, and they’re just as beautiful. You will not be able to tell them apart from mined diamonds.

Lab-grown diamonds are ethically produced. They don’t involve any child labor or human rights violations like some mined gems, although they do take a lot more energy and resources to create than their natural counterparts.

Lab-grown diamonds are environmentally friendly, which is something you should consider when purchasing a diamond engagement ring for yourself or your loved one! If you’re interested in learning more about this topic, check out our blog post on “how lab grown diamonds can save our planet”.

Lab Grown Diamonds have been shown time and time again to be a great value compared with their mined counterparts; this is especially true if you need an allergy free stone (which we know many people do).

Be sure to consider all the factors we discussed and make an informed decision about your ring. The most important thing is that you love it! If you’re still unsure which type of diamond is right for you, consult a jeweler or other expert who can help guide you through the process.

Bought a beautiful stone here for an engagement ring. I was a little apprehensive since you’re buying something unseen. But Cid made it easy. In fact, Nissan, the owner also gave a call to make me more comfortable. They sent me the stone to take to a local jeweler with only my Amex in case I bailed on them.
