Radiant cut diamonds have 70 facets and are square or rectangular in shape. They have beveled corners and a mesmerizing sparkle. These out-of-the-box stones are ideal for the bride-to-be who isn’t afraid to stand out. Radiant diamonds are popular because they have the striking appearance of angled diamond shapes and the same shine as a round diamond.

Radiant Cut Diamonds – The 4 C’s
Cut – The cut of a diamond refers to how well the diamond’s features interact with light, while the shape refers to its physical appearance. Radiant cut diamonds are not graded because they are a “fancy” cut. Radiant cut diamonds, on the other hand, should have plenty of brilliance and sparkle thanks to their incredible 70 facets.
Clarity – Clarity, or the number of inclusions and blemishes in a stone, is a common issue with fancy shapes, but not with radiant diamonds. Each diamond will have a different number of these flaws, ranging from SI2 (the most) to VVS1 (the least) (having the least). Radiants, on the other hand, tend to hide rather than emphasize inclusions, giving you a much wider range of diamonds to choose from that will fit within your budget.
Color – Color in the diamond industry actually refers to the lack of color. Clean Origin only sells diamonds in the color range of J to D, though there are some diamonds with color ranging from Z (the most color) to D. (containing the least color). Color tints and flaws are both hidden by radiant cut diamonds. Feel free to choose a more colorful stone, knowing that it will not detract from the overall appearance of the stone.
Carat – Radiant cut diamonds appear to be much larger than their carat weight. If you want to make them look even bigger, surround the center stone with a halo of smaller diamonds. Remember that lab-grown diamonds are 20-30% less expensive than mined
