What Is The Ideal Size For An Engagement ring?

Efforts You Can Do at Home
To get an idea of your partner’s ring size at home, the paper strip method is a good place to start. To begin, make a 4-inch wide by 3-quarter-inch long paper strip. Make a mark where the paper overlaps your partner’s intended finger with the paper strip you’ve just wrapped around it.
The circumference of a ring worn by your partner on their left ring finger can be used to estimate the size of a ring. If your partner wears this ring on their left ring finger, this will work.

Resizing Your Engagement ring
A quarter to a half-size increase or decrease in the size of an engagement ring does not harm the ring’s structural integrity. It’s possible to damage the prongs of your diamond engagement ring by resizing it more than a half size.
