Hollywood got crazy about the hot update from Scarlett Johansson: the engagement ring! Congratulations to the bride-to-be! Let’s look behind the scenes of this celebrity news and reveal the true value behind her diamond.
Scarlett Johansson, an American actress, and Colin Jost, an American comedian, have been dating for two years. They met on The Saturday Night Live Show
in 2006, where Scarlett was a host and Jost was a writer.
But their actual relationship started only ten years later. Since then, the public is in love with this always smiley and happy couple.
And greatly welcomed the news about their engagement. Scarlett demonstrated her engagement ring during Comic-Con, on the premiere of her new movie “Black Widow” in San Diego.
The diamond itself has an interesting design. An 11-carat gemstone has a brownish hue and is the mixture of oval and pear cuts, forming together a graceful egg shape. Inserted in a black band, it’s completely different from a typical Hollywood design.
The designer house behind this ring is Taffin. It’s ruled by James de Givenchy, the nephew of famous designer Hubert de Givenchy. Because of the loud names, branding and high-jewelry positioning of Taffin company, it’s estimated worth is ridiculously expensive for a colored diamond. Alicia Davis, Shane Co.‘s VP of Merchandise, said it should be over $400,000.
However, our CEO Nissan Perla thinks that the value of this ring is overestimated. Check out the real prices for any diamond by submitting a request to us!
