The Diamond Registry is a unique portal that allows you to create your own diamond registry, where you can select, design and personalize the diamond engagement ring of your dreams. You'll have access to our expert advisors and designers, who will guide you through the process from start to finish. Our mission is simple: to help couples find their perfect diamonds so they can make it last forever with an engagement ring that's as unique as their love story.
The Diamond Registry Experience
We've created this guide so you can understand what makes our brand so special, but ultimately it's up to your personal tastes and budget as to whether or not The Royal Treatment is right for you. But before we dive into all of that information, let's start by taking a look at how long this experience will take:
You will typically spend 1-2 hours with your jeweler at their shop or showroom (depending on how many diamonds they want).
If there are multiple people involved in purchasing or gifting the ring, then we recommend spending an additional 30 minutes per person (so if two people are involved, then each party member would have 45 minutes). This time allows them ample time to discuss any concerns they may have about buying such an expensive item together as well as what their budget looks like and whether or not they both agree on which stone would be best suited for their partner’s hand size. For example: If one person wants something larger than 1 carat whereas another prefers something smaller because of budgetary constraints; these conversations must happen before finalizing anything with your jeweler!
Step 1: Free Consultation
If you’re interested in learning more about our diamond registry program, we invite you to book an appointment online or over the phone. During this consultation, one of our consultants will meet with you to discuss your wedding plans and determine if a diamond registry is right for you. The actual consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes; however, we can schedule multiple appointments if needed. At the end of your meeting with a consultant, they'll provide recommendations on how many diamonds would be appropriate based on your budget (including any purchases made prior to meeting with us). It's also possible that they may suggest something other than diamonds—if so, it's important that you remember that their advice is just that: advice! You don't have to take their word as gospel unless it makes sense for your situation and needs at home.
We require no deposit or sign-up fee for our free consultations; however there is an optional fee per hour if we feel like there are additional questions about your needs beyond what was covered during this initial consultative session
Step 2: Finding the Perfect Diamond
While you’re deciding on the perfect diamond for your registry, be sure to look for a few key qualities:
The cut of the diamond should be ideal. This means it needs to be symmetrical with no sharp edges and an even distribution of light across its surface.
The color grade is also important because, although it might not seem like it at first glance, this grading system is actually very precise. Diamonds are ranked on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (slightly tinted). The closer your diamond gets to being completely colorless or white, the more valuable it will be—and therefore more expensive!
Clarity refers to how many imperfections are present in the stone itself—such as inclusions or internal flaws that can detract from its beauty. A small number won’t affect how beautiful your ring looks once worn but anything larger than that could seriously impact its value and appearance over time
Step 3: Crafting Your Engagement Ring
You’re in good hands. You can trust us to find the perfect diamond for you and your soon-to-be fiancé. You will have complete control over your ring design, and we won't make any suggestions unless asked for our input. We will also give you all of the information about what your budget is for a ring and how much it would cost to buy an engagement ring at this price point.
As you decide on what kind of setting works best with your diamond (and vice versa), we will be able to help guide you through this process by giving suggestions based on our expertise in jewelry making techniques like prong setting, channel setting, pave settings or basket settings just to name a few! There are many ways that diamonds can be set into their mountings - each technique has its own specific benefits depending on what kind of stone shape/size/quality because each one requires different types tools which use different metals such as gold plating or platinum plating etc.. No matter which technique we use though - rest assured knowing that there are always pros & cons associated with every type method so don't worry too much about those details right now; they'll become clearer once we've gotten started designing together :)
Step 4: Proposing With Your Engagement Ring
You've made the decision, and you're ready to propose. No matter where in the world you are or what kind of ambiance you want to create, The Diamond Registry has the perfect setting for your proposal.
Once a diamond has been chosen and purchased at The Diamond Registry, we'll arrange a special time at either one of our locations or at a location outside our store. We'll provide everything you need (down to matching cufflinks!) so that all that's left is for you and your partner to say "yes".
