The upcoming Sotheby’s auction in London is filled with very colorful diamond jewelry pieces. From brooches to earrings and heart-shaped rubies to drop shaped emeralds. To get in the mood and be inspired here are some jewelry highlights that will be up on the 20th September.
Lot 101 – The Unique Ruby and Diamond Bracelet
The diamond bracelet designed by Chopard is a large and flexible band with 24 heart shaped rubies, to an oval diamond at the borders. The length of the bracelet is around 192mm.

Lot 296 – A Sapphire and Diamond Ring
This diamond ring has a 30.93-carat sapphire center gem that is the shape of a step-cut. The in claw-set sapphire is mounted and accented with single-cut diamonds.

Lot 271 – A Pair of Emerald and Diamond Earrings
The bow designed diamond earrings are set with baguette cut, marquise cut, and round cut diamonds. But the most eye-catching is the suspending drop-shaped emeralds from a surmount pave-set with round diamonds.

Lot 272 – The Marquise Cut Diamond Ring
The claw-set marquise cut diamond ring is GIA graded and the certificate states that the diamond has the highest color grade D and VS1 clarity. The marquise shaped diamond is 3.93 carats.

Lot 3 – The Diamond and Cat’s Eye Chysoberyl Pendant Necklace
This pendant necklace from the second half of the 19th century is designed as a graduated line of cut down collet that is set with cushion cut diamonds while having a detachable pendant to it. The pendant has a cat’s eye chrysoberyl as center gem while being surrounded by diamonds.
